What's the difference between the connector and the plugin?

The connector links your HypeAuditor account to Claude — Claude gains 6 data tools and can pull creator analytics, fraud signals and demographics on any prompt. It works in Claude Desktop, Claude Cowork and claude.ai. The plugin builds on top of that: installed in Claude Cowork, it adds 12 ready-made slash-command workflows like /find-creators and /check-fraud. Start with the connector — add the plugin when you want the guided workflows.

Do I need both the connector and the plugin?

No — the connector alone is enough to use HypeAuditor data in Claude. The plugin is optional: it adds the 12 pre-built marketing workflows on top. If you only want to ask Claude questions about creators, the connector is all you need.

Which Claude plans does this work with?

The connector works on any Claude plan that supports custom connectors — Claude Pro, Team and Enterprise. The marketing plugin runs in Claude Cowork, which is available on Pro, Team and Enterprise plans via the Claude desktop app.

How are HypeAuditor credits billed when Claude calls a tool?

Credits are charged against your HypeAuditor account, not Claude. Free credits are included when you sign up. Discovery and analytics calls consume credits at the same rate as the HypeAuditor web app.

Is OAuth required to connect HypeAuditor to Claude?

Yes. The connector uses OAuth 2.0 — Claude never sees your password. The first time you use the integration you'll be redirected to HypeAuditor to authorize the connection, then Claude receives a scoped token.

What data can Claude access through HypeAuditor?

Is it safe to connect HypeAuditor to Claude?
